Q. How do I become a Nakisa Certified Consultant?
A. Your path to becoming Nakisa Certified is a 4 step process:
Step 1: Attend the five-day advanced class (Technical or Functional)
Step 2: Apply your knowledge
Step 3: Complete the Certification examination
Step 4: Nakisa panel review of examination
Q. How do I ‘Apply Knowledge’ as required in Step 2 of the Certification process?
A. You can demonstrate applied knowledge by completing test cases provided by Nakisa, or by shadowing a Nakisa expert on customer implementations.
Q. What is the difference between Technical and Functional training?
A. Technical training is designed for individuals who assume the role of HCM technical consultants, and deploy and configure Nakisa Solutions. Functional training is designed for individuals who assume the role of HCM Functional Consultants or Project Managers, managing the Nakisa project, performing requirements gathering and identifying project estimates. Functional training does not cover deployment of the solution.
Q. Can I follow both the Technical and Functional training paths?
A. Yes, if you assume the role of both Technical and Functional Consultant within your organization, then you should attend both training programs.
Q. Do I need to participate in training if I have been trained by Nakisa before?
A. Visualization Solutions by Nakisa 3.0 is a major release, with many features and capabilities that were not previously available. Advanced training is necessary for all consultants and is a pre-requisite to obtain certification.
Q. Can I take the exam without attending the five-day advanced class?
A. Advanced training is a pre-requisite to taking the Certification exam.
Q. Where do I complete the Certification examination?
A. The Nakisa Certification examination can be completed online.
Q. Who reviews the examination?
A. The Certification exam is evaluated by a Nakisa review panel.
Q. Is the Certification for me or my company?
A. Certification is awarded to individuals, not organizations.
Q. When is the Nakisa Certification awarded?
A. The Nakisa Certification Review Panel convenes twice quarterly to review examinations and award Certification.
Q. What should I be able to do after successful completion of the Nakisa Certification Program?
A. Refer to the table included in the Nakisa Certification Program Overview page on the Nakisa website.
Q. What will be covered in the Certification examination?
A. The Certification examination will include multiple choice questions based on the materials presented in the Technical or Functional class, and in the test cases. The Certification examination will take approximately 90 minutes to complete.
Q. If I don’t pass the certification exam, can I take it again?
A. Yes, you can take the exam again, but a processing fee of $150.00 is payable to take the exam again. There is no fee for the first exam.
Q. Is there any overlap with Functional and Technical advanced classes?
A. One day can be considered overlap, so if you participate in both classes you would be required to attend only four days of the second session.
Q. Do I need to take this class to implement Visualization Solutions by Nakisa 3.0?
A. Advanced training is required to mange and deploy a 3.0 customer implementation.
Q. What is the price for training?
A. The price for training depends on your region. The Nakisa Certification Program package price includes: participation in the five-day advanced training class, access to test cases, the opportunity to take the Nakisa Certification examination, and a review and validation of the examination.
