Giving back to our communities, any little way we can

At Nakisa, we strive to be contributing members of the communities in which we live, locally and globally. Our Nakisa Cares program involves sharing our good fortune and giving back to these communities in any way we can. Through our program, we encourage employees across the globe to donate monetarily to charities and run office drives to collect non-perishable foods and/or clothes.

We pride ourselves in employing generous individuals who passionately contribute to non-profit organizations such as programs for the homeless, cancer foundations, children’s charities, and disaster relief funds. Whenever possible, Nakisa also provides a corporate donation to match employee donations.

Movember

The Movember Foundation challenges men to grow moustaches during the month of November to spark conversation and raise vital funds for men’s health programs. The “Mokisa” team grew many different styles of mustaches and many of our employees donated monetarily to help bring awareness and improve the lives of men who’s lives are affected by prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health issues.

ALS Quebec

The ALS Society of Quebec is dedicated to improving the lives of people living with Lou Gehrig's Disease and their family, funding research and increasing awareness. Nakisa’s executive team took the Ice Bucket Challenge and many of our employees donated monetarily to the cause. Nakisa also made a corporate donation that matched 1:1 every dollar that was raised.
