Job Description |
The successful candidate will be working on design and implementation of the Web-based application in Java.
|
|
Responsibilities |
- Analyzing and detailing the requirements
- Designing and implementing Web-based application in Java
- Unit Testing the application
- Defect correction
- Documenting the assigned tasks
- Participating in the build process
- Ensuring that your software is delivered to the highest possible QA standards.

|
Requirements |
- University degree in computer science or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of related work experience
- Knowledge of Java
- Experience in Web Application Development with Eclipse
- Knowledge of JSP, JSF, XML, XSL, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax and HTML
- Knowledge of Web architecture
- Knowledge of Flex is an asset
- Knowledge of Linux is an asset
- Knowledge of Software Development Process Models (i.e. Agile, RUP, MSF) is an asset
- Knowledge of development tools such as Rational, VersionOne is an asset
- Excellent and effective communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to meet tight timelines
- Ability to work and thrive in a team environment
