Job Description

Nakisa Professional Services department is responsible for ensuring successful deployment and implementation of Nakisa solutions to customers.
The Functional Consultant is a vital and integral member of the Professional Services Consulting team. She /He works directly with international customers and partners as well as with project managers and developers throughout all project phases – from project initiation, to requirements gathering, solution design, QA and acceptance.

Responsibilities
  • Implement Nakisa solutions to the highest quality standards at client sites.
  • Support Project Manager by acting as main point of contact for clients throughout all project phases.
  • Act as liaison between client and technical consultants.
  • Deliver a superior customer experience by using well defined processes.
  • Support project estimation activities by writing statement of work, request for services, and change request documents.
  • Deliver Nakisa trainings to customers and partners.
  • Drive customer requirement workshops by performing fit gap analysis, business process mapping, and feasibility of customizations.
  • Perform basic configuration of the Nakisa solutions.
  • Raise and track product issues as well as work with product development team to address issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting for all project/client activities.
  • Drive customer on-site meetings, status calls, as well as internal meetings with cross functional departments.
  • Manage customer expectations and foster positive relationships throughout all project phases.
Requirements

 

  • University Degree (Bachelors) in MIS, computer science or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • 3-5 years of experience in software consulting.
  • Experience working with technology ERP vendors such as SAP (OM and PA), Oracle, PeopleSoft and Microsoft and good understanding of Web applications an asset.
  • Excellent English skills (both spoken and written), any additional languages would be an asset.
  • Strong time management skills with ability to work under pressure and meet tight timelines.
  • Ability to manage challenging and complex projects.
  • Ability to work and thrive in a team environment.
  • Experience with phased project implementations, with emphasis on requirements definition, testing and high degree of customer interaction.
  • Good understanding of Human Resources process (Talent management, Organization management, performance management, recruiting etc.).
  • Willingness and ability to travel (25% of the time)
